Työ-SIB is for anyone who is a customer in the Public employment and business services (TE-office) and meets the criteria. Target group criteria is unemployed individuals who have been unemployed for at least 12 months during the last 16 months or 24 months during the last 36 months or 36 months during the last 48 months. Also, you should have 12 months of work experience within the last 5 years period.

Target group may also include anyone who has been unemployed for 6 months but has other unemployment risk factors. TE-office officers will check in the end  in criteria is met and make a decision about every individual case. If the criteria are not met one can’t start in the program.

Työ-SIB caters for everyone in very different life situations. Some of our customers may have been unemployed for a long time and others for less than a year. There are no requirements regarding your profession or educational background. We welcome any educational background. The most important thing is your motivation to find employment and readiness to work with us towards it.
