Työ-SIB is an performance-based employment program commissioned by the ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. Over 2600 participants have already found employment. The main objective of the program is to help thousands of TE-offices long-term unemployed find work between 2020 and 2025. Työ-SIB is carried out by service providers, who are experienced in helping job seekers from different backgrounds find employment. The programs financing and management is monitored by S-Pankki.
SIB is an abbreviation for Social Impact Bond. The name signifies the method used to finance the project. Funding is collected from investors which is used to cover costs of service providers based on impact and results. Työ-SIB customers will be selected randomly in the TE-office and invited to an info session where we will explain more about the opportunities provided by the program. After the info session customers who expressed interest in participating will be contacted within a week to arrange starting with the assigned service provider. Participation in the Service is voluntary, but participation in info session is obligatory if invited by the TE-office.
You may join the program by asking your TE-office advisor to send you an invitation to the Työ-SIB info session. You may also send us your request directly to info@tyosib.fi. TE-office makes the final decision regarding the selection to Työ-SIB program, we as program managers/service providers can’t influence this decision.
Työ-SIB is a performance-based service. We give our service providers the full freedom to help customers in the best way possible. Hence, service may differ from one service provider to another. The aim is to have a flexible service that can provide a personalized service depending on the needs of the jobseeker.
Työ-SIB service providers have some employer contacts. However, most of our participants found the job themselves with the help of our coaching process.
