Työ-SIB is an impact investment program commissioned by the ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. The main objective of the program is to help thousands of TE-offices long-term unemployed find work. The program is active for four years and is carried out by service providers. Service providers are professionals experienced in helping job seekers. Program is managed and monitored by FIM.
SIB is an abbreviation for Social Impact Bond. The project is centered around achieving an impact through helping long-term unemployed find work. Funding will come from investors who also bear the financial risks of the project. The public sector will only pay for the achieved outcomes. Työ-SIB customers will be selected randomly in the TE-office and invited to an info session where we will explain more about the service. After the info session customers will be assigned a service provider and invited to a brief interview with them. Participation in the Service is voluntary. Read more here.

TE-office makes the final decision regarding the selection to Työ-SIB program, we as program managers/service providers can’t influence this decision.Read more here.
Työ-SIB is a performance-based service. We give our service providers the full freedom to help customers in the best way possible. Hence, service may differ from one service provider to another. The aim is to have a flexible service that can provide a personalized service depending on the needs of the jobseeker. Read more here.
